We spotted the star of the show we hate to love, the Hills’ Lauren Conrad on a shoot in LA sporting somewhat of a different look to her usual California Girl style and the good kids we are, we just had to share it. Don’t worry folks, it’s just a wig, her highlighted locks aren’t gone forever, but what if they were? We here in STELLAR Towers are loving the raunchy rock chick vibe she’s putting out, but what do you think?

Ladies and er…more ladies, we have an announcement to make. No longer will Jimmy Choo’s be the stuff of red carpets and catwalks, the kind of shoes we peer at, longingly, from a distance, deep down knowing, that our poor tootsies, will never be graced with such works of art. That’s right girlies, you don’t need to marry a old rich bloke or win the lotto to bag some Jimmy Choos any more. From November 14, (don’t crack open your piggy banks just yet) H&M stores across the land will be stocking their very own range of his royal high-heel-ness’ shoes and bags…yep we squealed a bit at our desks too…
So that’s about 5 months to get saving, forget Christmas presents this year, we’re buying the whole collection…see ya in the queue….

Not only does it house one-off creations (all lovingly created by proprietor and designer Deirdre Cantwell) but she also sources some very slick vintage pieces (bags, belts and the cutest dresses and jewels) that won’t cost you a small fortune. Individuality at cool prices. We likey!

Your summer essential read – STELLAR hits the shelves today! Yay!
The stellar fashion team were on location yesterday and managed to catch the last of the lovely weather!! Phew!!

We’re flipping loving this weather here at STELLAR Towers and have all our limbs crossed that it’s here to stay. There’s nothing better than kicking back in the garden or the park listening to a few tunes, and who are we hearting on our i-pods at the moment? Our new girl crush, Laura Izibor.
(If you’ve been sleeping under a boulder of late, Laura is set to be Ireland’s greatest export, with a soul sound that’s more Motown than Marley Park, you might know her as yer wan that sings Shine on the Hibernian ads but her songs have also featured in P.S. I Love You and Grey’s Anatomy.)
A few STELLAR peeps went to her gig in Tripod last week and she was bloomin’ amazing, who knew a girl from Dublin could have so much soul? While we were already fans of her album, her live set just blew us away. She’s such a sweetheart, and so humble, it was great to be at a gig where the musician is genuinely excited to be there and boy can the girl sing – she has one mighty pair of lungs.
She has a packed summer of gigs planned, jetting off to the US and Asia but next time she hits home soil, it’s one show you shouldn’t miss. She is also recording some unplugged tracks for 2fm this week, so keep your ears peeled for those
. And if you haven’t bought it yet, pick up her album, Let The Truth Be Told, it’s the perfect sunny day record. We rate Don’t Say, If Tonight Is My Last and Mmmm as our fave tracks, (though they’re all good really.) Can you tell we’re in love yet?x

Sorry us STELLAR peeps have been away from the blog of late, we’ve been busy hacking away on the July issue which is very nearly ready, and hands on hearts, it’s a pretty good issue, lots of treats in store.
