Earlier in the week we told you about all the amazing fashion brands we went to see at the Acappella showrooms. Remember? Well we love our STELLAR readers so much that we are going to share with you a little secret. The lucky public can get their hands on some of the amazing designs we saw and at just a mere fraction of the rrp cost!

From Wed 6th-Sat 9th October in Citywest Hotel, Acappella will be holding a sample sale of their S/S10 and  A/W10 must-have pieces. Brands included are Darling, Rare, St.Martins, S’nob, Culture, Yuki, Fever, Jarlo, Religion, People’s Market, Supertrash, plus more, all selling at discount prices (how much has not been revealed).

Sounds like there is going to be a fashion frenzy in Citywest. We recommend you get down their early- it’s open from 10am to 7pm daily and make sure to bring cash no cards are accepted!

We’ll see you there!

Great for a Ladies’ Day, glitzy wedding or fancy summer party, consider the dresses an investment, while a tad on the pricey side, they are statement pieces that you’ll wear forever. And while some might be reluctant to buy occasion wear online, they’ve also got a fitting service in Dublin so you can try before you buy. We likey…check ’em out…

I think there is a trend happening- it seems almost everyday a new mail pops up in our inbox about the next big high street collaboration and this time it is none other than fashionable pop princess Pixie Lott. Hot after her charity designer collaboration with Moschino where she customised a grey basic jersey with lyrics of her songs, Pixie will co-design both a spring/summer and autumn/winter collection for Lipsy- a high street fave among style savvy young girls and celebs alike.

The first line, ‘Pixie Festival’ combines vintage-inspired dresses, distressed denim, printed vests and fringed waistcoats, whilst ‘Pixie Party’ will offer a range of glamorous embellished chiffon, animal prints and studded dresses- much to the style of Pixie herself.

Pixie who said she’s “always been a big fan of Lipsy and regularly shops in their stores” will no doubt have us queuing up to see the collection. We can’t wait!

Both collections will hit the shops on April 10th.

My oh my, we’ve fallen in love. With bags, and hats and dresses and jewellery. The lovely ladies from the vintage clothing wonderland that is Dirty Fabulous, have recently returned from one helluva shopping trip in New York City. And the generous people they are, they’ve brought back something for everyone, literally. You’ll have a hard time not falling in love in this shop, between the fascinators, (you’ll defo win ladies’ day at the races with these ones) darling brooches, (the perfect gift) beautiful bags, (great to stand out at a wedding) and stunning dresses, that need to explanation, they’re just amazing, there really is something for everyone regardless of shape, size or style – in case you haven’t noticed, we want it all!

Now we know it’s getting harder to splash out on fashion of late, but it’s all about clever purchasing. These classic, timeless pieces are gonna last you forever and sure aren’t they practically antiques,  and if Bargain Hunt and the Antiques Roadshow have thought us anything (well they haven’t really), it’s that these things are a good investment. Safer than shares or property anyway and a whole lot more gorgeous.
