Well, eh, Style Wars…
If you’re just a tad addicted to Ireland’s answer to Project Runway, TV3’s Style Wars (we can’t get enough of the drama or enough of gawping at Caprice) then here’s your chance to meet the budding designers in the flesh and have them work their magic on you.
The folks at Lipton have teamed up with the show and the fabulous people at Fran & Jane to host weekly events in the Fran & Jane Dundrum Town Centre store. Over the next few weeks a different a different Style Wars finalist will be working as a stylist in the store each Saturday, offering tips and advice for the season ahead. And while you peruse the clothes, you’ll get to sample some Fruit & Herbal tea too…win-win if you ask us.
It’s all to celebrate the Lipton challenge on the latest airing of the show in which each of the finalists had to put together a Lipton Herbal & Fruit inspired look and create a headpiece, direct a photoshoot, and put together a magazine spread worthy of a glossy like STELLAR (phew, we’d need a cuppa after that).
And if you like what you see on the telly, you can win a Lipton inspired Fran & Jane ensemble all of your own. They’ve got seven up for grabs, so check out their Facebook page for details on the comp as well as info on the weekly store events.

We love birthdays especially when its Dundrum Town Centres. Can you actually believe Dundrum Town Centre is five years old? It seems like only yesterday since Dublin’s savvy new shopping centre opened its doors to what now is the most acclaimed shopping destination in Ireland that we all can’t bear to live without. Like mobile phones, we are wondering what we did before it.
So to celebrate 5 fabulous years one lucky customer will walk away with a whopping Dundrum Town Centre goodie bag worth a staggering €50,000 on March 6th (We’re praying it’s us).
A giant Perspex box full of goodies representing prizes for over 50 retailers was unveiled yesterday. Some of the ‘money can’t buy prizes’ include private screenings at Movies@Dundrum to a Milano’s pizza making party. As well as these amazing prizes fashion is not forgotten. Up to €1000 worth of vouchers from most stores in the centre are up for grabs- so a whole new wardrobe for spring ladies.
So how do you win this out of this world prize? Well listen to Dublin’s 98 who have teamed up with the shopping centre and everyday a montage of 5 famous faces will be placed in the shopping centre with the corresponding famous voices played on air on Dublin’s 98. Just guess one of the faces or voices to be in with a chance of winning this fabulous life-changing prize.
The grand finale will be held in Dundrum Town Centre on Saturday March 6th where the very lucky winner will walk away with the entire contents of the giant perspex box worth over €50,000.
