We can’t keep up! LiLo has gone blonde… again. But this time it’s platinum! Her tresses have seen plenty of colour over the past few months, she’s gone from being a blonde to a brunette, then tried it as a redhead before trading this in for her new platinum locks yesterday after a whopping 11 hours in a Beverley Hills Salon. According to her twitter, it’s for a film role! What do ya reckon… which colour suits her best?
Which colour do you prefer on Lilo? Comment and let us know…
Daisy Lowe, Hilary Duff and now Alexa Chung have all been shot by the big-daddy street style blogger/photographer Scott Schuman aka The Sartorialist for DKNY Jeans campaign.
The campaign which recreates the street style blog feel have signed Ms. Chung up as the face of Autumn/Winter. Alexa was reportedly handpicked by DKNY because she epitomises the free spirt of a DKNY girl.
With a hit MTV show and a DKNY campaign under her belt it looks like Alexa is conquering America – oh so fashionably!
We are loving the colour blue at the mo’ and looks like one of our fave stores is too! Aldo (which has just opened a branch on Henry Street in Dublin… yay!) has tonnes of cute blue finds in their new autumn/ winter line. And you can pick up more than shoes there too – they’ve loads of gorgeous bags, gloves and accessories so get your skates on and get down there…
We’re all about supporting our own here at Stellar Towers particularly when it comes to new Irish designers! Two we’re keeping our beady eye on are Harlow & Harvey and CM Designs.
Harlow & Harvey (the brainchild of Fashion Design graduate Sarah O’ Neill) are made to order modern urban headpieces that use a mix of lace, crystals, silk and ornate beading to create fabulously intricate one-off pieces you won’t see anywhere else. Her current collection entitled ‘skin and bone’ explores the similarities between fashion and architecture and is all about amazing craftsmanship!
CM Designs are custom made, hand-printed garments from NCAD Printed Textiles graduate Carol Mahon that epitomise cool. Her current collection reinvents slightly offbeat even ugly items like nooses, broken records and shards of glass using a poppy colour palette and edgy designs. With a retro vibe, her boxy jackets, quirky shirts and eye-catching prints all demand attention.

Keeping up the theme of all things bedazzled, Lily Allen launched her new jewellery collection today and so on the ball are we, we’ve got the pics hot off the press…(complete with a minor boob flash)
We’re big fans of the panda pendants – not quite sure if we want the giant Lily Allen logo hanging off our necks. There’s also coins, letters, road signs and fruit, but the flashy flamingo is our absolute fave, and we hear it’s Lily’s too.
Let us know what you think, the collection will be hitting a store near you in September…watch this space for more details xxx
