I think there is a trend happening- it seems almost everyday a new mail pops up in our inbox about the next big high street collaboration and this time it is none other than fashionable pop princess Pixie Lott. Hot after her charity designer collaboration with Moschino where she customised a grey basic jersey with lyrics of her songs, Pixie will co-design both a spring/summer and autumn/winter collection for Lipsy- a high street fave among style savvy young girls and celebs alike.

The first line, ‘Pixie Festival’ combines vintage-inspired dresses, distressed denim, printed vests and fringed waistcoats, whilst ‘Pixie Party’ will offer a range of glamorous embellished chiffon, animal prints and studded dresses- much to the style of Pixie herself.

Pixie who said she’s “always been a big fan of Lipsy and regularly shops in their stores” will no doubt have us queuing up to see the collection. We can’t wait!

Both collections will hit the shops on April 10th.

Ok, so we’re all for supporting fashion self-expression but seriously, what were Lady Gaga and Britney thinking wearing these outfits last night at the Grammys? Gaga chose a planet orbit style concoction that looked like she’d been zorbed in for the night from another planet. Meanwhile, poor ole Britney is still choosing to defy the Hollywood stylist but ended up looking more like mutton dressed as a black lamb than hot superstar. The black body suit covered in laced netting was never going to look good on anyone- let alone Britney.

Who do you think wore the worst outfit? Tell us what you think…

We here at the Stellar towers find it a chore to go shopping for jeans- and we really love shopping. So why is it that every woman finds it so difficult to find that perfect fit? Well the wait is over thanks to Portuguese Jean brand, Salsa who have finally realised us normal women need a little more help in the booty area when it comes to jeans.

New to BT2 this Spring this Portuguese Jeanswear company are the latest jeans to help slim the abdominal area, shape the waist, accentuate the curves and push up the posterior (we’ll take three pairs please).  Rumored to be a true cosmetic operation without the surgery this sounds too good to be true. Well if we look anything like these models while wearing them, then we’re sold.

Retailing at €90 from BT2

Hello Upper East Siders. Spotted: Taylor Momsen modelling the latest looks for New Look. After weeks of himming and hawing and much speculation, it is true Taylor is the new face of British retailer New Look (surprise surprise!). First reported back in December by NY Mag and Nylon Magazine, Little J has finally hit the big time. Of course it was just a matter of time until this fashion savvy 16-year-old, with a ‘I don’t care’ attitude got her break. Known for her glam rock style, we heart Taylor Momsen at Stellar and think it’s a fab move for New Look – a little bit of edge never hurt nobody.

Check out those stylish pics and tell us what you think! xoxo

Who cares about Dancing on Ice, Dancing with the Stars and So You Think You Can Dance when there is only one show on TV that makes us wish we went to ballet school with boys in tights and thats Sky One’s, Got to Dance (hottie Ashley Banjo from Diversity being a judge on the show has nothing to do with it, we swear!). A fave at Stellar things are heating up this week. The first semi final happened last night and clear front-runners, Jukebox Juniors and Emily pirouetted through (excuse the pun!) Next week we’ve got our money on cutie Akai, the youngest contestant to make the final.

Sky One, Sundays, 6pm

The 67th Annual Golden Globes were nothing but a wash out but when it came to the women they looked nothing of the sort. With award season in full swing, here at Stellar we’ve spotted some emerging trends from the red carpet for you to take your own inspiration from. Check out the celebs who wore pastel shades of peaches and creams. They looked nothing but the best dressed with tough competition from the dark side – the ladies in blue.

Despite the downpours, Chloe Sevigny (nominee for Best Performance by an Actress in a TV Supporting Role) wore an airy pastel gown by Valentino made up of oversized frills and ruffles. Emily Blunt, (from The Devil wears Prada fame) looked peachy in her classic shaped Dolce and Gabbana.

Playing for the other side, Ashley Olsen sported a frilly, embellished Erdem dress. Likewise, Ginnifer Goodwin, (Big Love) chose a cobalt blue draped Vionnet number. Both favouring a shorter length to suit their petite frames.

But hey, in the battle of nudes versus blues, red carpet veterans Drew Barrymore and Kate Hudson showed their class, pairing structured frills and draping with chic old Hollywood barnots. Now all we need is that invite and we’re sorted!

Have you ever thought of Esprit clothes as a little bit mamsy? Well not anymore! Now that the new face of French brand Esprit is Daisy Lowe you’ll be wondering why in the name you never borrowed from your mother’s closet.

A big fave at the Stellar headquarters, Daisy Lowe is raising the temperature in the Californian desert in this fresh, colourful shoot for younger line, EDC. Keeping work and personal life pretty close, Daisy cozys up alongside her real life bf Will Cameron, who happens to be the face of the menswear line. Pretty handy for discussing dinner arrangements if you ask us!

Gorgeous Daisy looks classically LA chic, all the while grabbing a new fresh audience in America for Esprit. Lowe has already modelled for the likes of Agent Provocateur, Marc by Marc Jacobs and Pringle. She gives the brand the edgier fashion cred its been looking for. After all Esprit knows you gotta have a that certain je ne sais quoi!

Esprit is available at Arnotts Project, Blanchardstown Shopping Centre, Dundrum Shopping Centre, Athlone Shopping Centre, The Pavillions Swords and leading stockists nationwide.

If you’re after a feminine, sensual scent, that’s both sexy and warm, Christina Aguilera by Night has it all. Inspired by her favourite colour red, and created to celebrate moments when a woman wants to feel confident and glamorous, the scent captures the experience of a woman pampering herself for a special night out. With a mix of tangerine, red apple, freesia, almond and vanilla notes for starters, (and a pretty bottle designed to mimic the curves of a women’s body!) this oriental fruity scent smells as delicious as it sounds. If you fancy checking out Christina in action, here’s a sneak of the new Christina Aguilera by Night TV campaign and behind the scenes shots. Christina opted for her old friend Ellen von Unwerth (who was also behind the camera on Christina’s Back to Basics videos and Keeps Getting’ Better videos) to shoot and direct the campaign because of her amazing ability for capturing the truest essence of a woman! Check it out…

The X Factor has had it’s finale but just who do you think deserves the final fashion crown? Were you a fan of Dannii’s Grecian goddess gown or was it Cheryl’s glamorous gothic look that stole the show? Tell us your thoughts!
